Ajay Pasupulate – Australian Multicultural Association

Born and bought up in Hyderabad India.

Migrated to Australia in May 2002 and found Melbourne as his second home.

Qualification – Graduate in Project Management in Victoria University.

Currently into building and construction industry.

Worked as an IT consultant for 15 years.

January 2015 - To date: Founder member and President of the Australian Multicultural Association.

Feb 2015-Feb2017: Advisory board member for Melton City Council CALDAC.

June 2014-Dec 2015: Founder member and Vice-president for Australian Telangana Association Inc (ATAI). In his tenure, he has achieved many laurels.

Awards:

May 2020 – Best volunteer of the year 2020 from Gorton.

October 2018 – Nominated as Citizen of the Year 2018 for Melton city council.

Film making – 2020

As an event organizer and as a community leader Ajay Pasupulate has realized there is a gap in the community in several areas which brought the idea of establishing the Australian Multicultural Association

Especially for Indian students being exposed to the risk so have initiated ‘AMA Indian Student Services’ group to help students.

To promote Indian culture and arts in large, Ajay has initiated for Indian ‘Australian Multicultural Association’ Arts Academy’ to teach Indian classical music & dance, vocal, fine arts, film making under one roof. This will create an opportunity for talented people.

Also Ajay Pasupulate has initiated broadcast media 979fm radio program ‘meekosam’ telugu langage program in Australia.

Initiated program to empower women by supporting and forming of ‘The Divas – Empower Women’ in collaboration with local community leaders.
